Nik Wallenda feat amazing; but didn’t happen at Grand Canyon

Don’t believe everything you see — especially if it’s on the Discovery Channel and especially if it involves high-wire walker Nik Wallenda of the famous Flying Wallenda family of circus and daredevil performers. Numerous media outlets are incorrectly reporting the location from which his brave act transpired.
Nik Wallenda wanted to add to his resume of doing death-defying acts on Sunday, when he walked across a tight rope suspended high above the Grand Canyon. And, of course, the Discovery Channel had to be there to broadcast it.
(As an aside: at least for one day people could take a break from posting GO BLACKHAWKS, HAWKS, ONE, ONE GOAL!!!!!!!, HOSSA, KANER, #88, #BECAUSEITSTHECUP #ONE #BLACKHAWKS on Facebook and Twitter and instead obsess over Nik Wallenda for a few hours.) But the problem is that Nik Wallenda’s 1,400-foot long feat on a two-inch steel rope was misleading. Technically, he wasn’t going over the Grand Canyon.
