Cluster Vanishings, 'Feral Humans' & Bigfoot - An Interesting Connection?
In January 2014, I wrote a piece titled "People Vanishing In Clusters, Unexplained – What’s Happening?," about the investigation into the phenomenon of people vanishing from US national parks, in clusters, written about in the popular Missing 411 book series and a trail of missing people that has remained unexplained to date.
On May 29, 2014, a writer by the name of Micah Hanks at Mysterious Universe, carefully detailed the documented instances of "Wild Men," also referred to as "feral humans," living in isolation, hiding from the world in remotes areas across North America and while Hanks does not assert a connection, he does bring into question the connections and similarities between Bigfoot sightings, these feral humans, and one of the children that went missing in the Missing 411 series along with a witness account in the very same area as a witness reported seeing a humanoid, whether man or the illusive "bigfoot."
In what led to the authorship of the Missing 411 book series, author and retired law enforcement officer David Paulides had begun researching strange disappearances in National Parks (which, it should be noted, he does not view in direct correlation with things like Bigfoot reports, instead taking a more objective, statistical approach to his investigations). However, one of the most compelling cases Paulides began to study early on had been the disappearance of a young boy, Dennis Martin, who vanished from within sight of his father in the summer of 1969 near Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
One of the most striking details of the case (and one which National Park Service documents pertaining to Martin’s disappearance failed to note) had involved a strange observation made shortly after Dennis Martin went missing, a short distance away near the area of Rowans Creek. Mr. Harold Key and his family had been walking a trail in the area looking for wildlife–in particular, any sign of black bears nearby–when they heard “an enormous, sickening scream.” Within moments, Key’s son pointed out a bear nearby, located up the ridge from them. Mr. Key, upon observing the “bear” his son had spotted, determined this to be not a bear, but a “dark figured, rough-looking man” attempting to remain concealed behind a thicket.
The man, which Key didn’t manage to view in clear detail, had purportedly been carrying something over his shoulder; Harold Key, unaware of Dennis Martin’s disappearance earlier that afternoon, supposed that the figure might have been a moonshiner who had trying to hide from them. Upon learning days later of the search for Dennis Martin, Harold Key notified the FBI about what he and his family had seen the same afternoon Dennis went missing.
Is it possible these feral humans aka wild men are the elusive "Bigfoot" creatures? Furthermore, given the locations they seem to live in, is it also possible there is a connection between these people/creatures (call them what you will) and the clusters of vanishings people in the US national parks?
In the video below, uploaded today by 777DGuthrie777, you will a fascinating interview from Where Did The Road Go, with a Steve Stockton interview about strange things in the woods and his own experiences.
Beneath that is the original Vanishing in Clusters video, for reference.

Rights of Journalists Declining; Twitter Censoring at Govt Requests
The Rights of Journalists in Decline around the Globe. Cracking any big story leaves journalists open to harassment. Harassment is one thing, however, but jail and torture are quite another. Around the globe, journalists have been experiencing a direct crackdown on what they are allowed to write and where they are allowed to go.
Now Trending on Twitter: Censorship at Governments’ Requests. Last week, Twitter made a pro-Ukrainian Twitter feed inaccessible in Russia. In addition to blocking that account, Twitter has also worked with the Turkish government to monitor content that officials there find objectionable, but then Turkey shut down the entire platform a couple of months ago when Twitter was being used as a platform for anti-government protests, which no doubt factored into the tech company’s willingness to accommodate Turkish officials’ concerns. The New York Times also reported Thursday that Twitter blocked content that upset a Pakistani bureaucrat, honoring his request to censor tweets on five occasions.

The Liberty Bell. Jefferson’s Monticello and George Washington’s Mount Vernon. Mount Rushmore. The Supreme Court building and the White House. Delaware’s “Old Courthouse.” The Daniel Webster law office in Massachusetts.
All are protected by the federal government to preserve the nation’s heritage.
And soon, the list could include a camera shop in San Francisco formerly owned by Harvey Milk, the homosexual city official who, according to a biographer, pursued young boys most of his life and supported the leader of the Jonestown suicide cult.
The federal government has announced plans to set up an 18-member team within the National Park Service to consider sites of “significance” to the “history of lesbian, gay, transgender and bisexual Americans.”
Interior Secretary Sally Jewell’s appointees will “identify relevant sites” to be considered for inclusion on the National Register of Historic Places, as a National Historic Landmark or as a national monument.
Park Service Director Jonathan Jarvis said: “The Park Service is, in my view, America’s storyteller through place. It’s important that the places we recognize represent the full complement of the American experience.”

Warning Americans - We Are Now Under Military Siege
A warning message from Autum Vose "Martial law has been signed into law and we are now under a government police occupation. Do not try to fight this evil system with guns, they will destroy you with impunity. Christopher Jordan Dorner was trying to fight the L A Police and everyone must understand. YOU CANNOT fight this wicked system or those evil men with force. The system is being run by secret bribes and handshakes and this darkness must get into the light. As American in every town we must stand up for our rights in numbers together in protest and through mass disobedience of their wicked laws."
"Those who can organize marches and protests must do that. There must be clear goals with each protest. Start out with something small, that a police chief be fired or jailed. With every victory made the american people will be educated to stand up more and more and we will take back this land. PLEASE AMERICA DO NOT VOTE FOR THEIR ELITE PUPPETS AGAIN!"
Did Dogs Help Man Kill Off The Mammoths?
A new analysis of European archaeological sites containing large numbers of dead mammoths and dwellings built with mammoth bones has led Penn State Professor Emerita Pat Shipman to formulate a new interpretation of how these sites were formed.
A fragment of a large bone, probably from a mammoth, Pat Shipman reports, was placed in this dog's mouth shortly after death. This finding suggests the animal was according special mortuary treatment, perhaps acknowledging its role in mammoth hunting. The fossil comes from the site of Predmosti, in the Czech republic, and is about 27,000 years B.P. old. This object is one of three canid skulls from Predmosti that were identified as dogs based on analysis of their morphology.

She suggests that their abrupt appearance may have been due to early modern humans working with the earliest domestic dogs to kill the now-extinct mammoth -- a now-extinct animal distantly related to the modern-day elephant. Shipman's analysis also provides a way to test the predictions of her new hypothesis. Advance publication of her article "How do you kill 86 mammoths?" is available online throughQuaternary International.
Spectacular archaeological sites yielding stone tools and extraordinary numbers of dead mammoths -- some containing the remains of hundreds of individuals -- suddenly became common in central and eastern Eurasia between about 45,000 and 15,000 years ago, although mammoths previously had been hunted by humans and their extinct relatives and ancestors for at least a million years. Some of these mysterious sites have huts built of mammoth bones in complex, geometric patterns as well as piles of butchered mammoth bones.
"One of the greatest puzzles about these sites is how such large numbers of mammoths could have been killed with the weapons available during that time," Shipman said. Many earlier studies of the age distribution of the mammoths at these sites found similarities with modern elephants killed by hunting or natural disasters, but Shipman's new analysis of the earlier studies found that they lacked the statistical evaluations necessary for concluding with any certainty how these animals were killed.
Surprisingly, Shipman said, she found that "few of the mortality patterns from these mammoth deaths matched either those from natural deaths among modern elephants killed by droughts or by culling operations with modern weapons that kill entire family herds of modern elephants at once." This discovery suggested to Shipman that a successful new technique for killing such large animals had been developed and its repeated use over time could explain the mysterious, massive collections of mammoth bones in Europe.
These maps show the locations of collections of mammoth bones at the archaeological sites that Pat Shipman analyzed in her paper that will be published in the journal Quaternary International.

The key to Shipman's new hypothesis is recent work by a team led by Mietje Germonpré of the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences, which has uncovered evidence that some of the large carnivores at these sites were early domesticated dogs, not wolves as generally had been assumed. Then, with this evidence as a clue, Shipman used information about how humans hunt with dogs to formulate a series of testable predictions about these mammoth sites.
"Dogs help hunters find prey faster and more often, and dogs also can surround a large animal and hold it in place by growling and charging while hunters move in. Both of these effects would increase hunting success," Shipman said. "Furthermore, large dogs like those identified by Germonpré either can help carry the prey home or, by guarding the carcass from other carnivores, can make it possible for the hunters to camp at the kill sites." Shipman said that these predictions already have been confirmed by other analyses. In addition, she said, "if hunters working with dogs catch more prey, have a higher intake of protein and fat, and have a lower expenditure of energy, their reproductive rate is likely to rise."
Another unusual feature of these large mammoth kill sites is the presence of extraordinary numbers of other predators, particularly wolves and foxes. "Both dogs and wolves are very alert to the presence of other related carnivores -- the canids -- and they defend their territories and food fiercely," Shipman explained. "If humans were working and living with domesticated dogs or even semi-domesticated wolves at these archaeological sites, we would expect to find the new focus on killing the wild wolves that we see there."
Two other types of studies have yielded data that support Shipman's hypothesis. Hervé Bocherens and Dorothée Drucker of the University of Tubingen in Germany, carried out an isotopic analysis of the ones of wolves and purported dogs from the Czech site of PredmostÃ. They found that the individuals identified as dogs had different diets from those identified as wolves, possibly indicating feeding by humans. Also, analysis of mitochondrial DNA by Olaf Thalmann of the University of Turku in Finland, and others, showed that the individuals identified as dogs have a distinctive genetic signature that is not known from any other canid.
"Since mitochondrial DNA is carried only by females, this finding may indicate that these odd canids did not give rise to modern domesticated dogs and were simply a peculiar, extinct group of wolves," Shipman said. "Alternatively, it may indicate that early humans did domesticate wolves into dogs or a doglike group, but the female canids interbred with wild wolf males and so the distinctive female mitochondrial DNA lineage was lost."
As more information is gathered on fossil canids dated to between 45,000 and 15,000 years ago, Shipman's hunting-dog hypothesis will be supported "if more of these distinctive doglike canids are found at large, long-term sites with unusually high numbers of dead mammoths and wolves; if the canids are consistently large, strong individuals; and if their diets differ from those of wolves," Shipman said. "Dogs may indeed be man's best friend."

Interesting Interview With New Lebanon Actor Hussein Dika (Video).
Today I got the privilege to interview a very interesting new actor named Hussein Dika. This twenty-three year old gentleman not only has unique taste in music, a friendly appearance, but interesting passions. It wasn't that hard for me to keep the questions rolling with his kind of life story... that has just only started! From Hussein telling me about him going homeless for ten days to his many journeys discovering himeself I was completly intrigued and you groovy nuggets shall be as well.
1. What is your full name?
Hussein Mohammad Dika
2. Where do you live?
I live in Beirut, 'kfarchima' 'kfarchima' in Lebanese means the village of Chima.
below is a picture of Beirut
3. What inspired you to be an actor?
I was initially inspired by a local actor named Fady Ibrahim, a name I grew up on as a child. A friend of my father's and a neighbor, influenced by his forceful dramatic presentations I studied acting but eventually my influences went offshore.
4. Where do you act?
As a new actor I would take part in any decent production available, regardless of the genre.
5. What other actors do you look up to?
I've had the chance to work with most of the class A Lebanese actors and I find 'Rafic Ali Ahmad' techniques to be beyond our small country, he was chosen by a french magazine as one of the 100 most impressive Lebanese characters. With his deep voice and expressive eyes he has the ability to portray the unexpected.
6. What short movies have you done?
I have participated in about a dozen short movies, I even did comedy in short movies and comedy is not my preference, my main preference would be drama.
7. What kind of acting would you like to do in the future?
The kind of acting i'd love to take part of in the future is non-commercial acting, even acting can be commercial nowadays. When a production is aimed to sell and only sell i'll opt out if a part was offered.
8. You were in a heavy metal band when you were younger...why did you stop playing and turn to acting?
Music is a major asset I grew up on and still very basic to this very day. As a teenager metal was my resort, was a very efficient way to express myself, to grab a guitar and play whatever I could play back then was a push and a motivation in a sense to carry on. Every good music is my music, I hate classifications and metal is good music. I covered genres from heavy/thrash to death metal & there's always an inspiration obviously. I was 13 when I attended a metal concert in Beirut, afterwards I met a lebanese/international metal vocalist & guitarist that represented Lebanon on several occasions and I must give the credit to him. The energy and spirit he had on stage was very appealing to me, Bassem Deaibess is his name, some call him 'sir black' others 'The Lebanese Dio"' for his high pitch that is similar to that of Ronnie James Dio. The catch is I ask for his advice acting wise nowadays, as a great vocalist he has the secrets to projection when it comes to theater.
below is Bassem
9. What did you play in your heavy metal band?
Heavy metal was the trend I'd say, covering renown bands like Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Slayer, Pantera, Judas priest and many more.
10. What pubs did you play at in Lebanon?
Many pubs, small gigs every now and then but the main events we performed at were at the Lebanese university main campus, we have a political situation here and religion sects taking over the country, as a non-professional band we were the first to perform metal songs in the Lebanese university in 2008 after many attempts to do so they finally approved us but soon after banned us from performing there again.
11. You said you prefer method acting...what is that?
Method acting is a bunch of techniques used to immerse yourself in the character ought to be played, initially created by the Russian actor/director Constantin Stainslavsky and then adapted in America by Lee Starsberg. what is known as the actors studio, Lee Strasberg institution is based out of New York with another headqueater in Los Angelos. It's an acting school that to some only adds up pressure and hard work to the actor but it has shown great results giving bith to the world's finest actors and I personally use it's techniqes.
12. You mentioned you were inspired by Al Pacino and Robert Deniro...why is that?
Al & Deniro are all time inspirations to many but my list goes further to Woody Allen, Marlon Brando, Micheal Douglas, Joe Pesci, Tom Hanks, Eddie Griffin, Larry David and the list goes on. I relate to Italian American actors though maybe because they have similar features to the Lebanese and the middle easterns in general with their greasy hair and sun tans ha ha... I am no racist though not to forget that Al Pacino and his contemporary were chose as the world's best actors.
13. What resources did you take with you while being homeless for ten days?
Being homeless was a choice to experience the feeling as an acting exercise, I took what is basic to stay alive and a little amount of money to cover transportation and oh yeah two bottles of Jack Daniels to bare the cold showering December nights.
14. Do you have a favorite movie?
I loved Scorsese's Goodfellas, a 1990 production starring Robert Deniro and the Godfather trilogy is amazing I mean Francis Ford Coppola did a great job minding the slightest details from young vito to old vito to Micheal Coreleone. The way Marlon Brando scratches his beard, his tucked jaws and how he walks is literally similar to an ape, that's how an ape functions but he managed to make out of it a godfather how cool is that!
15. What did you do before being an actor? Did you go to school for anything else?
I worked for three years as a financial adviser while I was acting actually, and yes I have a marketing/advertising B.A along with my communication art studies.
16. If you weren't pursuing your acting career...what would you want to do?
Any performance related job, I recently learned basic contemporary dancing to help me control my body movements on stage... maybe a dancer or musician.
17. Can you give us some acting tips for people who want to pursue this as a career?
With my short experience I am not entitled to give tips to those who want to pursue acting but I can share the tips I've been given from professional actors. I had debate one with the Lebanese actor Fady Ibrahim, I told him that it's mere luck in Lebanon to act, if you have the proper money with the proper connections you'll make it here regardless of how talented one is. I was aggravated at that point for the lack of opportunities, I still remember vividly what he said to me. There is no such thing as luck, it's a myth. A chance shall pass by each and everyone of us and he who is well prepared is ought to catch it in other words the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.
18. If someone is interested in seeing more of your work....can they contact you?
Yes, I can be reached by mail husseinthehuman@gmail.com
