This is no internet prank. The news story has been confirmed by TMZ, The Daily News as well many other reputable sources.
Walker the star of the Fast & Furious franchise was confirmed dead when the Porsche GT he was driving crashed into a tree and exploded.
As you can imagine the internet is blazing with the news. Walker was only 40 years old. Local news state that the crash was a solo vehicle accident that happened near the Rye Canyon Loop and Kelly Johnson Parkway around 3:30 PM.
When the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to the accident the vehicle was engulfed in flames. The LA county fire department arrived on the scene where Walker and another undisclosed victim were found dead.
As we are still trying to confirm the details, Walker was confirmed to be in eh area for a car show and was taking friends ou t for rides in his new car. The accident happenned on one of those joy rides. An actual photo of the accident scene was tweeted.
