(PCM) Singer, actress and American Idol judge is being sued by fan with some pretty outrageous claims. The fan, who is an aspiring singer named Rodrigo Ruiz, claims that Lopez conned him into sending her images of his genitalia in order for her to assist him with getting a record deal.
Ruiz says that Lopez promised him that she would further his music career if he included the nude photos along with his demo CD’s. TMZ.com first acquired the court documents that also reveal that Ruiz is claiming to have received a series of letters from Lopez that made he feel as if there was a chance of romance with her and was forced to receive counseling for depression after she ultimately failed to deliver on her promises.
Ruiz is seeking the amount of $10,000 dollars for his suffering and has also filed a police report claiming he is the victim of sexual harassment. TMZ did discover the contents of a few of the letters, but the P.O. Box that Ruiz sent the letters to does not match any owned by Lopez and instead belongs to a 53 year old Los Angeles woman.
Lopez is currently out on the promotional tour for the new season of American Idol and her rep claims that the lawsuit has no merit and is nothing more than a desperate plea for attention from a fan with a hidden agenda.
