2013 Fantasy Football TE Rankings – Week 2
.
With an exciting opening week of football under our belts, here are the Lester’s Legends 2013 Week 2 fantasy football tight end rankings.
.
1. Jimmy Graham, New Orleans Saints
Graham had four catches for 45 yards and a score. Not a huge start, but he’s always a threat to score. Look for a big game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
.
2. Vernon Davis, San Francisco 49ers
Davis had 98 yards and two touchdowns as Colin Kaepernick went his way often. He’s a tough cover, even for the Seattle Seahawks.
.
3. Jason Witten, Dallas Cowboys
It’s not surprising that Witten finished with 70 yards. It is surprising that he scored a pair of touchdowns. He is a good bet for receptions and yards. If he can get in the end zone, his value will skyrocket. Witten faces the Kansas City Chiefs this week.
.
4. Tony Gonzalez, Atlanta Falcons
Gonzo continues to deliver despite his age. He had 36 yards and a touchdown. He should see more looks against the St. Louis Rams with Roddy White (ankle) limited.
.
5. Julius Thomas, Denver Broncos
Thomas exploded on the scene with 110 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He faces the New York Giants, who got shredded by Witten last week.
.
6. Jared Cook, St. Louis Rams
Cook is a freak athlete that is finally getting to shine in St. Louis. He had 141 yards and two touchdowns in the opener. He faces the Falcons, who yielded a touchdown to Jimmy Graham last week.
.
7. Jordan Cameron, Cleveland Browns
Cameron had nine catches for 108 yards and a touchdown. He faces the Baltimore Ravens, who were last seen making Julius Thomas a fantasy star.
.
8. Owen Daniels, Houston Texans
Daniels caught five passes for 67 yards and two touchdowns. Next up is the Tennessee Titans.
.
9. Greg Olsen, Carolina Panthers
Olsen had five grabs for 56 yards. With Steve Smith being the only other viable option, Olsen should be heavily targeted against the Buffalo Bills.
.
10. Jermichael Finley, Green Bay Packers
Finley had five catches for 56 yards and a touchdown. He is a great athlete. He should be solid against the Washington Redskins as long as his hands don’t fail him.
