Though some may completely discard this video, even Space Daily ran a story about this potential space threat where FEMA and the Russian Ministry agreed to join forces to prepare against just such an event.: Russia and the United States will work together to improve protection against meteorites and other space threats, Russia's emergencies minister said on Tuesday following a joint Russia-US working group meeting in Washington.
